How bad is the leak? It might be a vent line, is the transfer case overfull?

Default Vent hose???

Is the hose that is leaking run up to the top of the transmission? If so then it is your vent hose. They normally leak for one or two reasons. The transmission is overheating or the tube itself is plugged up. Your transfer case will also have a vent tube, but should have a plastic cap on the end of it. Hope this is of some help to you.

its a vent hose im almost 100% sure gm usually uses metal lines for the trans and oil cooler lines and rubber hoses for the vent hoses and coolent hoses. fallow the hose back see where its coming from if it comes from the trans then its just a vent hose and your trans is over filled in which case you need to check the transfer case to see if its over filled as well. if it is then you need to replace the seal between the two.

Transfer case vent hose. The plastic connector has broke.

And, it's not because anything is "overfilled", by the way.
