I need to buy a new fuel pump for my 2001 2500 HD 6.0 Litre and need to know if it requires one electrical connector or two. Trying to buy one from JC whitney and this is my everyday driver so i dont have time to order the wrong one! Thanks

From what I have heard and experienced... DON'T GO AFTERMARKET ON FUEL PUMPS!
Buy the OEM replacement. Aftermarket failure is commonplace when you are talking fuel pumps. Not to mention vast majority of the aftermarket fuel pumps will be very noisy.

I changed the fuel pump for 167.99 from autopartswhearhouse.com free shipping the part is OE and looked just like the original it came with a new plug for the electric. For you people who change one yourself in the future it does not matter if the pump has one connector or 2 as long as your vehicle doesn't have fuel tank pressure sensor and mine did not. So i hooked it up and works perfectly! It is not loud at all no diiferent than before. The other pump had a pin hole leak in the gas tube coming from the filter on the pump to the truck fuel line. FYI
