I have a 01 silverado 4.8. the fuel pump died. i have a replacement pump the wiring harness on the truck is for the 3pin. the colors are dark, green, and white. the new pigtail harness is black, grey, purple, and orange with a blaclk stripe. the new fuel pump is an airtexi would appreate it if anyone can hepl me with the correct wiring, thanks rob

 

Did you get the right pump? Thereare two different ones. Was there any instructions in the box?
E3501M used with modules inked TCU.
E3500M used with modules inked TCF.

 

Yes I have the right pump it was looked up however they only 2 of the wires on the new pump are color correct i need to know what 2 do with the other 2 wires. the black and grey wires i can hook up, i just have to know what to do with the purple and small black or orange with the black stripe, which is the thinner wire, which i guess would be the small black wire. thanks for helping,, rob
