I've got a pair of standard Sylvania headlights in the high and low beam lamps. I rarely use my high-beams, so replacing those isn't an issue.

So far I've seen that the Silverstar Ultra's have a very short lifespan (9mo-1 year). I was interested in HIDs, but realized that not only would I have to buy a kit, but that I might have to add in an extra part to stop glare from blinding on-coming traffic. I've got around $50 to use (I can bump to $60 if necessary). Any suggestions on what I should buy?

I did find this kit. Any thoughts?

 

my dad has silverstar in his truck and he had his for 2 or 3 years now great headlights i just put some hyperwhites and there bright but not as good as the silverstar imo hid 6k are nice too
