My buddy has a stock set on his truck.. and its still kinda slow off the line.. i mean its not slow.. i guess i shouldnt use that word.. it just feels like its not unleashing its full potential..

If you want to make it faster off the line look into a custom black bear tune. The guy can tune the truck to do what you want.

I must be missing something, we have no idea what tire size he is running on those 20" wheels, it is possible to still maintain the stock tire diameter with a larger rim.
They make some pretty short sidewalls to deal with that, you just sacrifice some ride comfort but you can gain some handling.

My 20" wheels are the same overall size as the factory 17". They even way almost the same maybe 10 pounds or so more.

I think the 22's on my 07 Escalade are about the same as well.

They are 255/45R20 on the front.. and 255/55R20 on the back.. they were the same all the way around.. i just kinda like the staggered look.. when i went with bigger on the back it didnt change any..
