Default New Guy w/ a Question/ 1982 4x4 C20

I all, new guy here but not new to Chevys, just found this page.

Anyway I am building an 82 Chevy 4x4 C20. use to be a diesel but was converted to gas before I bought it. I need to know what the engine is and what year. the info on the block deck in front of the head ( passenger side ) is K0205TDF. I has the pattern for the mechanical fuel pump but its not plumbed therefore I have an electric pump on it. I need the engine info so I can buy the correct stuff to tune it properly. Thanks in advance

Hi Jeff Dodson,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

To start, if it's a 4X4, it will be a K20, assuming it's a 3/4 ton pickup. The "C"
designation is reserved for 2WD vehicles.
