Hello all,
My name is Scott. I am new to this forum. I have recently puchased a 93' silverado 1500 shortbed. I have an issue with the passenger door that I would like some advice on. First, there is a key broken off in the door lock; second, the door does not close tight. When I hit a bump on the road the door seem to jiggle in the jam. Third, I can not get my passenger rear turn signal and brake light to work. The running lights work, but not when I hit the peddle or use the signal.

If there are any hints or advice on any of my problems I would be greatfull.

for the door jiggle. i bought these little round placstic things at advanced..i cant rememebr what they are for.. they about 1/2 long and hollow..i cut them and then over the piece of metal that sticks out the door locks onto.. it helped alot..less then $2... i cant remember what they are called tho..and to find them on the website would be a total PITA...it almost looks like PVC pipe..but its like 1/4 inch...

 

the door probably needs new hinge pins. as far as blinkers, check the bulb.
