Default New member with question about seat fittings for my '85 Silverado

Hi yall! I have my '85 Silverado that I received when I was 15. That was 10 years ago and over time I've been restoring things here and there and now I'm to my seats. My current bench seat is the stock cloth seat and it's starting to wear down really bad, really quick. I could get a seat cover that would prevent some of the physical wear and remove the eye sore of it, but it would still be very worn when you are on the driver side.

I'm interested in bucket seats but can never find the people that drive the trucks I see parked with bucket seats in them to find out what seats fit smoothly in the truck. I was hoping that you all here might know what vehicles came with bucket seats that will fit my truck so I can research them that way. Simply trying to purchase or find for sale bucket seats for '85 Silverado is getting me nowhere.

Thanks everyone for your time, I hope to see you all around!

Welcome to the Forum!!!

Lmctruck.com sells seats for your truck. I bought a pair of bucket seats with a center console for my 85. They are a bolt in replacment, four bolts and your ready to go.

Thanks for the note. I've looked several times through LMCTruck's online catalog and I can't find the seats you're mentioning. I see upholstery kits and such, but the I can't seem to find the actual seat in the book at all. Do I need to call them to get information on the seats? Do you remember about how much they cost either each, or for the whole set? And what material were they?

LOL yeah those would work... if I had the cash right now. Unfortunately I'm also modding my daily driver and don't want to spend that much on seats for my truck right now. I'd like to find some seats from a different vehicle that would fit, but I don't know how to find out what seats would fit the truck. Sure would like to have those seats though, they looked nice!

Thanks for the help!

Even seats on ebay that are ripped up go for 400 dollars! The seats are going to be expensive!
