Default new with an older tbi truck... curious?
I bought me a no frills 89 Scottsdale 2wd this week. Straight, runs well and only has 144k on it. It has the 350/700r4/3.08 combo.

What are you all getting for combined mpg if a) you leave it in OD and just go or b) you only put it in OD on the freeway?

I'm going to do 3 tanks with it in just OD and then 3 shifting from D to OD... but I figured others had done so prior to me...

Anyone?

I haven't checked mine in a while but I have a 92 with tbi, and I always just put it in od and go. I get about 11-12 in town mpg
