new spark plugs for 2007 5.3 silverado
Auto zone is insisting I only install what the manufacturer suggest for plug replacement at $6.00 a plug. really? anyone do differently with good results
I didn't realize 6 bucks a plug was a good price. I'll pay it but I won't like it. I'm 63 years old. the last time I bought a spark plug it was

Guess that's for ac delco iridium plugs? 6$ ain't bad at all, but you can substitute those for the ngk tr55 plugs at oriellys for around 2$ a plug. They last about 50k vs 100k for the ac delco plugs
Rock auto will give you choices on the parts you want to purchase. They mail them to you and there is a shipping fee associated, but as suggested try other parts stores if you fell the price is too high.
