Default new tires and they rub

i put on my new tires and they rub my bumper. i am wondering if i should cut into the bumper about an inch or so or should i move the bumper up. if i move the bumper i have to make brackets and if i cut it, it will rust. which would be easier or are there any alternatives?

if the truck has torsion bars you could turn up the keys. It will change the alignment angles so an alignment will be needed.

Trucks an 02 silverado 2500hd. I cranked my keys up about 5 turns and it sits leveled now. The tires are 285/75-16 width is 8.5. Tires rub the bumper and im thinking about extending the bumper out. I can provide pics if that helps

Crank more and add a block in the back to lift it another inch all the way round or so. What's the offset on the rims?

Blocks are super easy. Just go to a junkyard and get some 1.25" blocks from a 07+ 1500 silverado and then get new u-bolts from a lift shop or have a parts store make you some

Would be the easiest way to go about it

Cut the black bumper moulding on the bumper bottom. On each end cut from top where it connect to bumper and cut towards the bottom of moulding on an angle of 1 to 2 inches towards the front. That will give you clearance for your tires. My 2001 2500hd with 285x75x16 have no problems with clearance after the mod. Send picture if you can
