Hi I'm new to this forum and I have a 2009 Silverado 5.3L 1500 4X4 Ext Cab, my wife came home this afternoon from two stores when she got in the truck at the last store she said that the truck interior blower fan was running even though the key was not in the ignition at the time. All I could think of is there maybe a timer for the blower maybe to dry out the evaporator as not to create mold? Any one know for sure if this is the case for my model year truck?

 

I would suggest speaking with your dealer about this issue. They may find that it is normal or there could be something that is running incorrectly. I hope you are able to get this fixed as soon as possible.
