ok , did you try putting 12v directly on the blower motor as rednucleus suggested?

Fan works well connected to directly to 12v.

It must be that harness, I should be able to get varying readings as the fan speed is adjusted. One thing I saw said the harnesses often get too hot. Have that on order.

Also saw someone getting a click in the relay mine doesn't appear to make any noise, I have a new relay as well and the results are the same, and they tested out as far as I can tell. The last thing would be the blower control switch?

you need wiring diagrams, and I don't have it unfortunately.
I always used to buy Haynes manuals for my 90's cars/

You shouldn't need to cut any wires. Just test them from either end.

You said the fan works on high speed right? The relay is for high speed, so you've ruled that out

Switch fan to speed 1. You should have 12V (with negative probe on ground) where the yellow wire goes into the resistor
switch to speed 2. You should have 12V on the tan wire
switch to speed 3. You should have 12V on the light blue wire

I confirmed those measurements with a multimeter. Now head scratching again.

the fan works ‘sometimes’ in Hi.

Good. So the control panel works.
Now measure the dark blue wire where it goes into the relay , in speeds 1, 2 & 3
there should be something around 3V, 6V, and 9V

when it doesn't , try smacking the motor with a mallet. Flick the relay, or jiggle the wires and connectors around.

in those settings the dark blue wire always reads about the same voltage. 11.3 ish with accessory on but 14v with engine running.

that would mean resistor not doing its job?
