No Front Left Brake

No Front Left Brake
Vehicle:
2000 Chev Silverado Extended Cab (3 dr.) LS
4X4 with 5.3 liter V8 and auto trans.
Problem:
Unable to bleed driver's side front brake. No brake action on this wheel when brake peddle is depressed. The right side works as it should. Rear brakes also functional. I am not sure if the problem might be the Electronic Brake Contol Module.
History: I had some work done by a neighbour. He replaced the line for front brakes between the Master cylinder and the EBCM. The man was a little ruff ( not too gentle) and I am conserned a little contamination might have entered the module.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
