No spark after swap..
Ok, so I swapped my slowing dieing 4.3 and dead 4l60e with a younger pair from another truck. The pair ran fan in the wrecked truck they came from.
After doing the swap, I am getting no spark. I am getting power to the ignition coil and spark coming out of the coil to dist. wire. However I am not getting any spark coming out of the spark plug wires. I have tried both the rotor/cap from the new motor and the rotor/cap out of the old engine that I KNOW are fine. Dist. is the known working one from the old engine, and it IS spinning. Dist. is plugged in, so what else could give??

Whoops, let me clarify that. I am not getting a SPARK out of the coil or coil wire, but I am getting a voltage reading. No voltage out of the spark plug wires though.

Problem solved. For the archives, it was the crank sensor. Troubleshooted it down to the crank sensor and replaced it with the old engine's sensor and that fixed the spark issue.
