so what does a cat costs?

 

since flowmaster nor anyone else makes aftermarket mufflers for our vehicles. i'd suggest either getting a high flow cat system or a cat back system not sure if they are the same or if you want to stay stock than buy the muffler from the dealer. its an hr for labor + parts.but the part for me from my dealer was 630 total cost was around 800 after everything. put a nice ding in my bank account.

 

I went and got my scan code and it's P043. They said it's very vague, they just said it's related to the exhaust system, could be an air leak, catalytic converter, etc etc. Told me to take it to muffler shop and they could tell me what it is.

My noise went away but the service engine light is still turned on. I will have to take it and see what it is. I wonder why my noise went away.
