When I give the truck gas and it downshifts the rpms raise and it slightly accelerates but not like it should almost like it's being held back then it will jerk like you just hit the gas randomly and accelerate like normal. It's like the truck doesn't realize that you want to go faster. It does it when ever accelerating even on cruse . The rpms do not jump like the trans was slipping or something. Please help, I do have a trouble code that said the mass airflow sensor. Thanks

 

Clean the maf and reset the code. A maf code will make your transmission do some crazy things
