NTD or IFS suspension lift

NTD or IFS suspension lift
I see that rough country now carries a non torsion drop 6" suspension lift while a lot of others are IFS. What's the difference? Is one better than the other? Which would you recommend for an 01 silverado?

NTD is the type of lift and IFS is what they lift goes on. NTD means the truck is lifted, but the t-bars stay in the stock position for a cleaner look with more ground clearance instead of like all full drop and some knuckle lifts where the t-bars are brought down along with all the other suspension components. IFS means independent front suspension, meanin a non straight axle truck.

In case of Non-torsion bar drop kits there is no need to drill holes into the center of your frame to bolt on the brackets to extend the torsion bars. Both are good and almost same apart from their cost.
