nv 3500 5 speed

nv 3500 5 speed

I have a 89 silverado with a 5sp nv3500 and it makes noise in 3,4,5th gears and a grinding at cruise any ideas?

those transmissions are prone to shearing gears, most likely needs a rebuild. i would say find the nv4500 5 speed and drop it in. it's alot stronger
