Passenger Window Failing

Passenger Window Failing
Recently the driver side window of my pickup has been not working correctly. I pulled the door apart and snapped a few pictures. It looks like the cable the motor rides on is fraying.
pictures of inside of the door.

What do I need to fix this?

RE: Passenger Window Failing
nothing. wrap cable with ductape, will run for next 10 yrs.
just kidding. order regulator off line, some 80 bucks, and replace, piece of cake job, about 10 minutes. all you have to do is to take panel off, remove 4 or 5 mounting bolts, release glass, fold regulator in - it jacknifes - and wiggle it out. installation reverse to removal.
then again, ductape is in better traditions...
