i have a 04 chevy silverado with a 4.8V8 and a five speed transmission. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on good performance ad ons that will be worth the money. i bought a super chip flashpaq for 450 dollars and it did nothing for my truck not even fuel economy. so if any one has advice for me thank you.

It sucks you already spent the money on the Superchip. I beleive its only 200 or so dollars for the blackbear tune. I've heard great things about it. Really have never heard anything bad. I plan on running one soon enough. A K&N filter is always good bang for the buck to.

 

ya but i sold that chip to a guy and it helped him out so i maid my money back but i just didnt want to make the same mistake this time. i thank you for the help

 

By the way, if I move to Abilene this year, you gonna have to tell me where them mudholes are. Looks like your truck has had some fun.

 

oh for sure i will, but unless it rains the only place to go is lake kirby in abilene
