I recently bought a 07 silverado with a 5.3L and I was wondering what upgrades or what I could do to it to make it work better that wont cost thousands. It still has factory exhaust at the moment and was also wondering what would work best with my truck for dual exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

for the exhaust it depends on how loud you want to go.
for performance. i've heard a cold air intake doesnt do much.
I have heard a lot of guys on here get a custom pcm tune from blackbear and are 110% happy with that purchase. long tube headers also

 

If you research the forum, you will find tons of posts on this topic.

Chevy now sells (at least my local dealer does) K&N CAI kits and will install them. Since it is a factory option, it won't void the warranty, if you have one.
