It's just what I heard, i've seen the pink dye in Toyota but never GM. I'm sure the lighting and white floor gave it that appearance more than anything else.

The only time I've seen pink fluid in a gm is from trans fluid and coolant mix...so is the trans fluid over filled on the stick? Hope it's not a bad rad cause it's almost impossible to flush that out of a trans without tearing it down.
The point I was trying to make is that it's far more likely that an 11 year old truck may have had aftermarket dex cool put in rather than the trans fluid mixing with coolant. Any oil mixing with water creates a nasty sludge not a pretty pink puddle.

The original poster already confirmed it was a loose hose and the color only appeared pink. Case closed.

you have never seen dexcool in a transmission then; as its not sludge. Its a watery pink coloured milkshake. I've had to tear one down after numerous fluid exchanges could not remove the contaminated fluid.

Thanks for making my point. The picture he posted isn't a milkshake or however a person wants to describe it. It looks like a puddle of water with a pinkish hue. No signs of oil in it.
