Pionner in Dash D3 Navigation and 2003 Chevy Silverado
I have a 2003 RWD regular cab silverado. I am trying to figure out if the pioneer D3 in dash navigation will fit in my dash. On bestbuy.com it says that it is not compatible. I have heard though that all you really have to do is get a double din dash unit from scosche or anybody and then it can be mounted in your dash the only reason bestbuy does not say it is compatible is because they do not sell double din mounting plates. Please let me know if the pioneer d3 will fit and what parts I will have to buy to accompany it and get it installed. Thanks.

i have that same system in a 08 silverado but my friend has an 03 silverado with the same system and hasn't had any problems with it..he took it to a local sound store and they did a great job.it will def work you jus have to find the right in dash kit
