OK, Ive got an 06 Silverado with just over 100K. Let me see if I can fit all of this. From a dead stop at around 1/4 throttle it dont want to shift out of first until 4k RPM's, and if I am traveling anything less than 65 MPH and I punch it to pass someone, it redlines and feels like it jumps out of gear and wont shift until the RPM's drop back down. It goes through every other gear just fine. No hard or soft shifting going on, no codes are being thrown. I have taken it to a tranny shop and the ran a diagnostic and tell me nothing is wrong with my tranny. I have replaced the TPS and it didnt help. Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful.

 

just a guess "fuel pressure" possable fuel filter, it will not throw a code, but will make the trans do wierd sh.....tuff kind of like having timing retarded, "No I'm not reterded you knot head " the timing, the timing, any way the engine runs out of power befor the shift point is reached
