I'm looking at cutting out the driver's side catalytic converter and replacing it. Do most replacement converters come w/ u bolts and brackets to secure it in place, or is it recommended to weld in the replacement?

Any recommendations on replacement brand names to buy and or stay away from?

 

Magnaflow High flow cats are good from what I've seen...I'd stick with them

 

If you dont go with the magna flow, my buddy just put an eastern catalytic on his truck and says it is awsome. just a thought

 

I would strongly recommend having them welded. A muffler shop wont damage your pockets too bad to do it and you wont have to work about exhaust leaks and things
