howmuch hp can you get out of ported heads on a 2000 1500 silverado 5.3? would realy like to know

 

i think porting on a truck for the street would not add any horse power to speak of .it generally work's on higher rpm motor's in a racing application ,and may detract from the power on the new injection systems which are designed to flow at a certain rate for mileage and power .the fuel has to be maintained in the port's at a certain amount .just be careful one thing affects another better get in contact with some one that has the facility's to flow test heads and intake's and work on the whole system with computers .
