Default Problem with brake lights on a '96 Silverado

Hey All,
I've got a '96 Silverado and my brake lights no longer work.
I've replaced the relay and the switch and still no lights...what should I check next?

Check the bulbs and sockets and make sure that all fuses are good.
Then check the wiring underneath the bed/cab and connectors
When you say that you "replaced the switch" I assume that you mean the brakelight switch down at the pedal?

Does the truck have a trailer brake controller?

Yes the switch by the pedal and the fuses and bulbs are all fine.
There is a harness for trailer lights and I took out the splitter for it, but still no luck.
I'm not sure of where else to check...
