99 Chevy 5.3. Last week it died 2 miles after she left home. It would run really rough and die. Drove it bearly to auto parts store check the engine light misfire code twice and o2 sensors error. I have changed spark plugs and wires. And guted the cats out. Started it up and drove it 10 or 12 blocks ran little rough just figured because the cats r off. She drove it home but didn't make it. She says it doing the same thing running like **** and dies. It seemed like it was choking on its self before I changed spark plugs and cut cats. Now I am lost. Help plz!

 

I would check and see if you have good fuel pressure, it kind of sounds like the fuel pump could possibly be going out. When it dies, turn the key just to the on position and see if you can't hear the fuel pump running.
