Default Putting a 350 vortech in a 99+ silverado

Alright, friend of mine has a 1996 Tahoe with a 4l60E transmission, and he just crossed the 200,000 mile mark. The engine runs great and has tons of power, but the trannys had it, and the body is getting there ( over 200,000 miles so its done good ). He wants to drop the 350 motor into a 99' Silverado 1500 short bed regular cab. He found one with a blown motor for cheap, but I'm not a Chevy guy so I wouldn't know, and he's not sure either. What is needed to do the conversion?
