Default questions about glasspacks

i want to go loud so i was thinking about putting 2 glasspack mufflers (cherybomb) but i just need to know a few things before i do it

1. how long would it be before i would have to replace them (how long would they last)

2. how would that sound im looking for a deep tone would it be anything close or what would it sound like (i have a v8 6.0 and if i put them im doing 2)

if your wantin low and rumbly glasspacks aint for you. ive got em on my 350 with 3in pipes and at low rpms they rumble pretty good but when you lay into em they open up and cackle kinda like a motorcycle but higher pitch. if you want somethin loud AND rumbly id say a flowmaster super 44 but ive never really heard one of em on anything...id say youtube it and go from there

I got a 5.3 with them and love the way they sound...my dad has a 6.0 and they sound real mean. at cruisin speed they aren't that loud but yeah when you lay into it, people will no doubt hear you from a mile away. especially with a 6.0.

i'll tell ya fella, cut your cat out remove caps and headers, and get the 4 inch and cherrybombs and it'll be as deep and loud at 1000 rpm as 35-4000 rpm, just don't let nobody know about the cat

this setup with 5 inch by 24 inches long tips would sound so deap and cool you would wet yourself. I have been doing the classpack (cherrybomb) and (what we used to call "blooie" pips) for A LONG TIME. try this! get a coffee can, cut a hole in the bottom, just big enough to slide it over your tail pipe, start your truck and then go back and slide it about 1/2 to 1 inch over your tail pipe. then listen to the difference. That is with just a 6 inch long pipe, imagin a 24 inch long pipe, the longerit is the deaper it should resonate? plus it looks cool I think
