Default Questions on cherry bomb

I'm pretty new at this stuff so I have a few questions about putting a cherry bomb on my pickup. Its a '05 Silverado 1500.

What else would putting one on change? (mpgs, performance etc.) In a good or bad way?

Do they last or is this something I'm going to have to replace in a few years?

Thanks!

Well, i'd say it would last quite awhile. Glasspacks usually start to sound better and better as the miles add up. It might give you a little more power but probably not enough to really notice a difference (5-10hp at most). I wouldn't say it would affect the gas mileage too much other than the fact your probably gunna be into the pedal a little more than you are now lol

I would recommend Flowmaster 40's. IMO they are the best sounding muffler out there. But Cherry Bombs aren't too bad.
