Default Radiator suggestion

So my radiator has a slight leak and I think im just going to get it replaced, the guy at O'reillys says he has 2 diff ones. Ones is $170ish and the other is a bit over $200. He said the cheap one is a 1 (some word I cant remember) and the expensive one is a 2 (same word). he says he thinks i need the $200 one. anyone know the difference and is he right in saying i need the expensive one? Ill call back tomorrow to get the word he said, i was in a bit of a hurry when i first called.

btw I drive a 1997 Chevy 1500 RWD 5.7L V8

He's refering to rows. One row is just that, two rows is two cooling rows. That would be a "heavy Duty" one. Sometimes on smaller cars such as my lumina it will read in width in inch. That means i.e. mine is a 5/8" width. There also was a 1", thta either means the cooling row is wider, or there are two, I dunno.

My 95 k1500 with 350 v8 was a double core, I got a single at the junkyard started to take the plastic over the fan off and found it was a double. Had to retake the single back bite a big one and spend the $$ on the double, but now I have a lifetime warranty!!
