Default RE: Audio Amp question

I'm putting a couple JL Audio 12" subs in my Silverado and I'm not sure what kinda amp to put in my truck. I'm considering Kicker but I want an amp with 1,000+ Watts. Does anyone know what I should go with?

I don't think this is the right forum for your question that's not a truck problem or question best best a radio shop near you would help more or Google

I like Polk audio.
Rockford fosgate is nice.
Kicker is OK too.
Just make sure you match the rms watts
Of the am to the sub as close as possible.
And feisty, for a small truck cab - (2) 12" subs
On 1,000+ watts is super overkill

Not really, we have bass competitions alot and I'm goin to turn my truck into a show truck and I was told that 1,000 watts was good. I had Amps lower than 1,000 Watts and it didn't seem to do as good. But, thats just my opinion. I don't wanna go buy the wrong thang and screw it all up. Thanks

I would look into pioneer amps, I had a w6 on a 1000x1 and talk about pound the hell out of a truck. I got rid of all that and just have two tens now. I put alot of money into sound and found for the price pioneer really makes just good products.
