Default rear spring insulators

Doe's anyone know how to remove and replace insulators between leaf springs? The riveted clamps that wrap around the leaf springs are pretty beefy. I guess I need to know how to put the new ones in with out damaging them. I've done them on my 1989 but my 05 Silverado is a different story, whole different design.

about the only way to do them on the truck is to use what they call a kk or kwick klip. grind down the head of the rivet and drive it out remove the old clamp, and clamp, the leaf's together with a c=clamp and install the k-k clip and bend overs the tab's .
