Ok i have a 97 2wd, reg. cab, swb. ive noticed a noise when taking off from a stop. as soon as i release the break pedal their is a clunk and the rear-end seems to drop about an inch or so. it really only does it after coming to a complete stop, and taking off again. i definatly think it is coming from the drivers side. anyone ever had this problem please let me know what it is so i can take care of it. thanks in advance

 

i had the same problem all you have to do is grease up the or even replace the yoke and u-joint. i only replaced the u-joint but been thinking of replacing the yoke aswell.. sorry front and back meaning transmission yoke and u-joint and also the one on the differential.. hope this works post up the news when everything works out for you good luck..
