One last question on this subject:
I hooked up the low port and got 31psi on the Escalade. Escalade is blowing 44F. On my newly filled Mercedes S600 I got 85psi and it's blowing 41F.
Are the low psi and high temperature readings indicate under capacity AC system? Or that is just differences in manufacture settings?

 

not familiar with the mercedes system. 31 psi low side for the chevy sounds about right.
