Hi guys I'm looking at rehearing my 09 Silverado 4.8 4x4. I'm wanting to go from 3.42 gears to 4.10's or 4.56 gears. I heard that on the 2010+ you need a new front carrier to run over 3.42, is this different on the 09's? Also what will I all need to do that swap? I'm looking at a programmer, ring and pinion, and do I need some type of install kit? Any kind of input appreciated thanks.
