I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 LS and only had one remote. I found one from a 2001 Corvette and programmed it to my truck. Everything works except the trunk button. Which I don't have anyway.

How did you program the new remote? I only have one as well and would like to buy another but dont want to pay the dealer to program it. I was told its just holding in the lock and unlock buttons in (at the same time) while standing next to my truck.
