1998 gmc 1500 5.0 l vortec. removed shady alarm and remote start system. Truck ran perfectly fine before but now it will start fine but shuts down immediately. I removed it because the previous owner intalled it and there were bare wires, batt rapidly losing charge. Batt now holding charge very well but the system has locked down. I really need to do something ASAP please!

 

problem was, whoever installed the auto start alarm must have souldered in a resistor to the little yellow wire, cut out the little fella, connect the 2 yellows, shrink tape and vrrrrrooom!
