Default Remove Head Restraint

I want to remove and replace the head restraint on the front passenger seat in my 2007 NBS crew cab. This will allow me to mount a DVD player in the back seat for my grand kids.
I can raise the headrests up to the maximum height but they are somehow prevented from going any further no matter how much I squeeze the tab that allows me to raise them.
Anybody know how?

unless they changed it - there are tiny holes in the plastic brackets, where the release button is. place a paper clip into it and push. releases internal lock, or something
good luck. i spent lots of time and aching fingertips, won't even budge. supposed to be a click.

your right....but mine seem to come off pretty easy after unlocking....had to hold the paper clip in while lifting on the restraint
