I currently have a 2008 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew Cab 4x4.. Im looking at replacing the standard power mirrors with the HD tow mirrors. Has anyone attempted this and if so I would like to know what all it entails to swap them out. Any help would be appreciated.

 

as long as you get the replacements with all the same options as your stock will be plug and play

 

Thx for the info... Next thing is how much work is involved in putting them in? Do the door panels have to come off, etc... Im trying to decide if I want to attempt to do this myself or just pay someone to do it. Downside to having it done is labor charges are so high to do it any kind of work like that.

 

yea the panels have to come off but they arnt too bad if you have a little mechanical knowledge
