Replacing Door Hinge Pin Bushings
Hello,
I have a GMC Sierra, and I was wondering if anyone has replaced the door hinge pin bushings. I have a kit but I don't know where to start. I would like to know where the washers and bushings go, when you install the hinge pins.
If anyone has some pictures, that would be most beneficial.
Thanks!

i always use an old v-belt or serpentine belt to support the door with a hoist, then just replace the bushings, if your up to the task you'll figure out where everything goes

a good friend to hold the door is what I usually use. I never put the spring back in the door. I don't like the spring very much anyway. You first take the retainer clip off the pin, bump the pin out, take the bushings out, then reverse the process. Make sure bob is holding the door and make sure to tell him when the pin is about to be out so he won't drop the door. It really is a simple task that everyone should know how to do instead of paying someone 100 to do.
