Default replacing rear main seal on a 94' Seirra 350

I'd appreciate some help with this. The manuals that I've been looking at don't tell me what I need to know. I know about the older 350's and changing the seal when it was too parts but I ain't changed one of these newer ones where you need to drop the tranny and all that. I'd just like a little advice and rough time estimate. Thanks
