Rough Country 6" EX Lift
Hi all,
anyone have a Rough Country 6" EX lift for their 99-06 Silverado 1500 4x4? I'd like to know how it is working for you. I'm looking to do as little damage to my truck as possible and most lifts require some cutting or welding. I like the idea of the differential and torsion bars not moving. But being that it is the only one of it's kind it makes me skeptical.

ALMOST every lift I have installed..seen install need some cutting/welding/moving.....of parts to some degree, just have someone who KNOWS what they are doing do it.....you have to worry about driveline angles, and shims so as not to prematurely wear you u-joints, lots of other **** to worry about then simple bolts ons.....In my experience there is not such thing as a 'bolt-on' lift....
On that note we use pro comp, and skyjacker on our trucks here.....They seem to work nice.

Skyjacker seems to work the best for me and my buddies.I've heard some bad things about rough country.A guy I know had one on his truck and it started sagging after a few months.I've heard other little bad things about a lot of other lifts. But that's just about the worst I've heard about rough country.
