Default Did you ever resolve the problem?

Jared,
I've got the same symptoms. Just wondering if you ever replaced the intake gasket and did it work?
Thanks

Default intake

hey mlgunkel, i did relpace the intake manifold gasket and my truck runs great now. i was told to replace the knock sensors so i did but then after i was told that i didnt need to so. unless you want to spend 100 dollars on two knock sensors. i don't think you need to. make sure you buy fuel rail O-rings, upper and lower, just because you there and pullin all that apart to do it. its a ver easy job. i thought it was going to be hard but i did it in about two hours and im no great mechanic. let me know your results.

Thanks for posting back your results Jared. Glad you stopped wasting time and replaced those gaskets. You do not need to replace the knock sensors. Also there is no reason to pull the fuel rail off the intake so you do not need fuel injector o-rings.
