When it does it it usually does it when in idle, neutral, and reverse. It usually doesn't do it when it is in park.

Some other things that have been changed were the rotor and distributer cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs, and fuel filter.

Check the ressistance of the coolant temp sensor it has a 2 wire connector and is near the thermistat there are charts in the book and online that show temp vs resistance

I checked the coolant temp sensor and it was good. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator?

check the fuel pressure instead of playing guessing games, fuel pumps can do all sorts of weird things when they're going out.

If i remember right TBI systems should be around 11-13psi
