I have a 1989 silverado im looking too beef it up a bit has a 350 but i dont wanna spend a whole bunch of money just want it to be a good streetable truck

 

How far do you want to go with it? I would suggest a top end kit for the most bang for the buck.

 

How many miles are on it??? I ask because it might be worth doing a rebuild, and adding a aftermarket topend. My old 89, at rebuild, i put edelbrock heads intake and a mild cam. Plus bored .60 over. I had 287,000miles on the original motor when I did that. Gave me exactly what I was looking for. Fast enough to make the tuners shut up, and still had pretty decent fuel mileage, 20mpg with a 700r4, 15 with a TH400.
