As most of u kno the 99 silverado has the 3rd door to the backseat, even with all doors closed, and windows, there is an air-leak where the front passenger door and rear door meet. There a way to fix this b4 winter hits?

Call around to some major body shops in your area, see if they have a better door seal than what the Stealership provides, which is just more of the same.

Certain MYs had problems with the seals, and when you take it back and complain under warranty, sometimes you find there was an unannounced recall in affect the dealers. GM apparently wants to deal with only the defective seals, rather than notifying everyone of a recall, but apparently the door seals have been suspect in some vehicles for a while, now.
