Default seats in bed of truck

i live in connecticut, did my own research. Was wondering what are the required laws for it to be acceptable for people to sit in while driving. I looked into bed ryder, wondering if there was anything else. If i could put a typical bench seat with lap belt or such.
Thankyou for any info

like what me and my friends did. google it up look for your states law web site. my friend printed out the entire 380 pgs of road laws regulations and all that hooplah. or you could take a trip to the local library and read the book they should most likely have... just dont go to the stoopid police station and ask them. they will tell you no. just like teh dupage sheriff told my friend he can never drive his lifted explorer on the road again because hes lifted. the stoopid copper stated that in my state we can only have a max of 3 in. total lift. when in fact we are allowed only a max of 3 inch body lift and your bumper can only be 36 in. from the ground. point is, read up dont go to the cops unless you trust em.

Some people Compare it to being just like a Blazer with the top off. I think it's a lil different. But I'm also imagining highway speeds. If it's for the beach or something, that'd be kinda cool.
